Frequently asked questions

Straight answers for cleaning business owners evaluating Clean Scheduler.

Do you offer cleaning scheduling software?

Yes. Clean Scheduler includes cleaning scheduling software with recurring visit rules, crew assignment, customer reschedule requests, and mobile field views. See our scheduling features page for details.

How do cleaning companies accept online payments?

Connect Stripe to add secure pay links to invoices. Customers pay by card or ACH from the invoice email or customer portal. You can also record cash, checks, and Zelle — see our online payments feature page.

Should I replace my cleaning spreadsheet?

Upgrade when multiple people need the same live schedule or month-end AR takes hours reconciling texts and payment screenshots. See our guide on replacing spreadsheet software for a practical migration path.

Does Clean Scheduler integrate with Stripe?

Yes. Stripe Connect lets cleaning companies accept card and ACH payments on invoices. Your Clean Scheduler subscription is billed separately from customer payments. See our Stripe integration page for details.

Do you have commercial cleaning scheduling software?

Yes. Clean Scheduler supports multi-site janitorial routes, recurring visit rules per property, crew assignment, and month-end AR reports — built for commercial and residential mixed books.

Do I need a credit card to start the trial?

No. Every plan includes a 7-day free trial with no credit card required. You can explore quotes, scheduling, and invoicing before subscribing.

Can I switch plans later?

Yes. Upgrade or change plans anytime through Stripe billing. Feature gates in the app match the plan comparison on our pricing page.

What is the difference between platform billing and customer payments?

Your Clean Scheduler subscription (Starter, Business, or Pro) is separate from payments you collect from your cleaning clients. Customer invoicing uses your own Stripe Connect account.

How does Zelle tracking work?

Clean Scheduler does not connect directly to Zelle. When you link your business bank account, we help match Zelle and ACH deposits to open invoices during reconciliation.

Do you integrate with QuickBooks or payroll systems?

Business and Pro plans include payroll export reports with CSV layouts for generic use, ADP, Gusto, and QuickBooks. We do not sync live with accounting software today.

What happens when my trial ends?

If you subscribe, your workspace stays active. If not, access pauses until you subscribe. Owners can manage billing or delete the workspace from account settings.

Is Clean Scheduler only for cleaning businesses?

Yes. We built the product specifically for residential and commercial cleaning companies — not generic field service.

How is my data protected?

We use HTTPS, access controls, and Postgres row-level security. See our Security & Trust page and Privacy Policy for full details.

Where can I find guides for cleaning business owners?

Visit our Guides for cleaning businesses for walkthroughs on pricing jobs, recurring schedules, scheduling crews, dispatch vs scheduling, getting paid, month-end close, and winning commercial accounts.

How does Clean Scheduler compare to other cleaning software?

See our comparison hub for honest reviews against Jobber, ZenMaid, Launch27, Housecall Pro, and Swept — including when a competitor may still be the better fit.

Is there a customer portal for my clients?

Yes on Business and Pro plans. Clients can view visits, pay invoices, and request reschedules online. See the customer portal guide for setup steps.
